Bricks from school building available during Apple Cider Weekend

As part of the Apple Cider Festival, bricks from the old school building will be distributed at no cost, one per person.

Bricks will be available on:

Friday, September 16, from 4PM-6PM

Saturday, September 17, from 2PM-6PM

Student volunteers will be assisting with the distribution. To pick up a brick, just drive around the elementary school building to the back of the building (on the same side as SCOPE)... The volunteers will be there to deliver your bricks to your car. A future brick distribution will be scheduled and based on availability. THANK YOU!

Railroad Issue

Good Morning Lordstown School Families! Many of you are aware that busing at the schools have been delayed due to train traffic in parts of the village. Our school buildings are making every effort to contact families via the automated phone system on the days this becomes an issue. We realize this can become an issue for our families and continue to work to find a solution.

The Administration and Board representatives have also met with Village and State officials in an attempt to find a solution to the issue. A copy of a memorandum that was a result of the meetings that took place last year is also attached for review. The Village and Schools met again this morning to discuss additional ways to fix the problem. We appreciate everyone's patience as we work towards getting all parties on board to resolve the issue. Thank you for your time...have a great day.
